One day last month, a technology worker from Montreal, Duncan Ward, set up his laptop at Citizen Space in San Francisco. “I just came to town for a week to do some networking for my start-up,” he said. “Duncan Ward” is actually Duncan Moore and the “friend” is Dan or I ;).
